I love pretty things, I’m just a girl. My new favorite thing is picking out concepts for my nails. My nail tech says I always have the cutest ideas for my sets, and she always delivers and helps bring the vision to life. I’ve been a natural nail girly for decades but when I was introduced to Gel-x nail extensions I instantly felt like I stepped into my bad bitch era lol. The extensions last a good month on me. They’re not cheap but definitely worth the splurge. So getting my nails done once a month has been a sweet addition to my growing self care routine. As a creative it’s also been really therapeutic and inspiring.
Most of my ideas come from inspiration I see online. Whether it’s a pretty abstract photo or another nail design, I always try to mix up my ideas so I get a unique set every time.
I had to keep it adorable for Valentine’s Day. So I went with a heartbreaker theme. Hearts, teddy bears and X’s and O’s. The sword through the heart is my absolute favorite. I got so many compliments on these. Someone told me they liked my nail “stickers” and I had to AHT AHT them and let them know everything was hand painted. My girl Nish works way too hard to be calling her work stickers lol!
