I know I’ve made many confessionals about my love (ok, ok, obsession) with nail polish. But out of all the brands, colors and finishes that I’ve tried there has always been one common necessity that matters most to me when it comes to polish; which is the quality of wear. No matter how pretty it looks if it doesn’t hold up to its end of the bargain in performance then it’s not worth the effort in my book.

As of late, gel polish has been one of the top trends in nails. So much that there are even at-home solutions and kits to creating your own gel manicures. I have my own qualms about gel polish but that’s a story for another day ^_^ SinfulColors has recently introduced a brand new collection of nail polish that includes a broad spectrum of 32 eye-popping shades. The collection is called SinfulShine and is formulated with a new gel technology that delivers the same high shine gloss as an acrylic UV cured gel without the hassle of a special lamp. The ingredients also use a plasticizer system which promotes a smooth application and helps prevent chipping. I recently had a chance to try out a couple of the new polishes first hand. Does it live up to its name? Find out in my full review below.

Yours Truly

A muted melon/coral.

Glow: I’ve always been a fan of SinfulColors regular formulas so I was excited to try out the new gel tech polishes. The polish is very easy to apply and the brush also makes application smooth and effortless. It’s also pretty opaque and I only used 2 coats. I used a sticky base and a fast drying top coat to seal in my manicure for the next few days. As far as wear it lasted about a good 4 days before I noticed slight wear around the tips of my nails. I know 4 days may not be a long time to some but for me it’s pretty darn good because no matter what brand I use my nails almost always chip the first or second day of wear – which is extremely aggravating!! So I was surprisingly pleased with the outcome. Another perk is that the polish stayed super shiny much like regular gel polish, so my at-home manicure looked straight out of the salon!

Glare: Honestly, I have no real cons. The formula is really nice and the colors are rich and vibrant. What more can a girl ask for?
Would I Recommend It? I would!!!! And at $2.99 a bottle how can you not at least give it a try? I won’t do any name calling but SinfulShine has lasted days longer than some of the more expensive brands that I have tried. I can’t wait to pick up a few more colors locally!
Where To Buy: The SinfulShine collection has 32 shades and are currently exclusives to Walgreen stores. To learn more and to stay up to date with future SinfulColors releases be sure to check them out via Twitter and Facebook!
